Here are a few suggestions to keep your wood kitchenware in tip top shape:
Never totally submerse in water. Instead, simply wipe off a wood with a damp cloth and dry throughly.
If it starts to look dry we recommend a liberal coating of Howard’s Butcher Block Conditioner on the outside only. For the best results let the conditioner soak in over night before wiping excess oil off with a soft cotton cloth. This allows the mineral oil in the conditioner to penetrate deep into the wood. The bees wax in the conditioner will be left on the surface and will add a nice water resistant sheen.
