Functionality is not sacrificed for portability in the design of this rock solid workstation.  Every detail is designed to create an efficient organized work area for the tyer who wants to spend more time on the water than they do hunting for tools and material.   The Expedition was built for the angler who fishes in every imaginable environment and desires the ability to create a presentation that rises to the needs of any situation.

The space efficient storage of the Expedition incorporates  6 dovetailed drawers, 5 hook/bead bins, and 2 swing out storage doors, all constructed from domestic hardwoods.

Each hook/bead bin contains 5 compartments with magnets to securely hold hooks in place. The swing out doors can store up to 63 spools of thread as well as a removable tool holder with a magnetic bottom.  A removable magnetic fly rack also serves as a hold down for delicate ceramic bobbins while in transit.

Innovative Features for a Seamless Tying Experience

A fold down door creates a work area with magnets that secure both the tool holder and a bracket for a fly tying vise.  The unique design of the bracket holds a vise more securely than cumbersome weighted stands or table clamps and it can easily be positioned in one of 3 brass bushings to accommodate either a right or left handed tyer.

Incorporated in the work area are 2 hollowed out bowls with magnetic bottoms to hold hooks and beads while tying.

The Expedition comes with a removable spring hold down to keep materials in check on those breezy days.

The frame and fold down work area are constructed from furniture grade Baltic plywood.

The comfortable leather handle is hand stitched and made of top grade latigo leather.
